G: gravity (Einstein’s gravitational constant) · ψ (psi, Greek: ψυχή): the quantum wave function, the probability amplitude · ξ (xi, Greek: ξύλον): from Solidum Qualitatis, the existential dimension of the conscious field
What it is
There is one event. A bomb explodes. A lie is spoken. A name is called. A child is born. Physics measures the same event from three sides simultaneously, and until now has only had instruments for two of them.
G_classical is what you can weigh on a scale or measure with a spectrometer: the kinetic energy, the mass, the force. The bomb releases 6 × 10¹³ joules. The lie releases approximately zero. By classical measurement, the bomb is the larger event by every order of magnitude.
G_quantum is the quantum mechanical dimension of the same event: the wave function, the probability amplitude, the Planck-scale regime. The bomb’s fission chain began in quantum mechanics. The lie’s decoherence of a trust relationship also has a quantum signature — the collapse of a shared state.
G_existential is what neither of the first two can measure. The ontological weight of the event as registered by the conscious witness in the Q dimension. The existential gravity of the lie — directed at a person who trusted completely — can exceed the existential gravity of the bomb. Not metaphorically. Structurally. In the Gψξ field, the existential register scales the product: if G_existential is near zero, the entire GRAVIS product collapses to near zero, regardless of the classical energy. Nothing that is genuinely at stake for no conscious being has ontological weight.
Gψξ is the axis that holds all three registers simultaneously and multiplicatively: G_GRAVIS = G_existential ⊗ G_classical ⊗ G_quantum. The symbol names what it contains: G (the gravitational constant, classical gravity), ψ (the quantum wave function), ξ (the existential/qualitative dimension, from the Solidum Qualitatis). Together they are not three separate measures averaged together. They are three dimensions of one field whose product is the full gravitational reality of any event in M₅ = M₄ × Q.
The axis and the witness
Gψξ is not a road the witness walks along. It is the axis that passes through the witness. The conscious being is not a point moving toward some distant gravitational horizon. The conscious being is the axis point — the definite location in M₅ through which the full range of the Gψξ field passes simultaneously.
This inversion matters structurally. If the witness moves along the axis, infinity is at the far end of a journey — reached only after sufficient effort, sufficient distance, sufficient time. If the axis passes through the witness, infinity is structurally present at the witness position now. The qualitative black hole (W(τ) → ∞, maximum GRAVIS compression, the simultaneous possession of all temporal events) and the qualitative white hole (W(τ) → 0, maximum openness, the creative instant) are both co-present at the axis point. The witness is the consciousness singularity that subtends both extremes — not because they have traversed from one to the other but because the axis was always passing through them with both poles simultaneously present.
This is the Dial to the Witness: not the witness adjusted to find the ground, but the axis brought to the witness — recognised as always already here.
Formal definition
G_GRAVIS = G_existential ⊗ G_classical ⊗ G_quantum = Gψξ
G⁽⁵⁾_μν + Λω g⁽⁵⁾_μν = (8πG₅/c⁴)[T⁽⁵⁾_μν(SM) + T⁽⁵⁾_μν(Q)]
The product is multiplicative, not additive. The M₅ field equations carry Λω — the love-constant — as the five-dimensional cosmological constant: the ground term of the unified gravitational field.

Without Gψξ, the three registers of gravity — classical, quantum, and existential — remain permanently separated: physics measures two of them with precision, and the third — the only one that answers why anything matters — has no formal instrument. Gψξ is that instrument.
