WHY TREE ORDER

Alphabetical order is what an index is for, and the Index already does it.

Numbered in the order of the tree, the Lexicon can be read straight through as well as consulted. Entry 1 is the fundamental equation; entry 42 is the last thing that follows from it. A reader who starts at the beginning and does not stop has read the model.

That also makes this list the spine of the hundred pages, rather than a separate piece of work.

A NOTE ON THE COUNT

Five is the dimensionality: four from spacetime, one from Ϙ. Two is the number of factors — M₄ and Ϙ — and the number of irreducible kinds.

The two counts answer different questions, and the heading takes the first, since entries 1 to 3 describe the manifold rather than the kinds. Where A1 says “two irreducible, co-present dimensions,” it means two kinds; strictly, two factors.
